UV Laser Cutting thin metal parts

Traditionally we use our IR laser cutting systems for metals, but sometimes we find that the quality required for specific applications may demand use of the 355 wavelength and ablation process.  This is certainly not the most cost effective way to produce parts, yet sometimes function and quality get to surpass cost.  The wide range of  applications and demand for thin metal parts keeps us on our toes as we look at the development process.  The key is to make sure we understand the customer’s need and communicate well to achieve the ideal part for their application.  Over the years we’ve gained experience with a wide variety of materials, handling and cleaning processes, quality levels, and so forth, giving our laser cutting service an edge over companies that simply operate machines.
